David J. Wold, CHBC, currently serves as Healthcare Information Services, L.L.C (HIS), Chief Executive Officer. In 1997, Mr. Wold along with several physician investors acquired Illinois Medical Billing Services, a physician billing company, which was founded in 1976. The name was changed to Healthcare Information Services, L.L.C.
Under Mr. Wolds’s leadership, HIS’ corporate infrastructure has significantly expanded during the past 17 years. HIS has grown from 40 employees in one location to an organization which now employs over 250 employees operating in two locations.
Additionally, Healthcare Information Services, L.L.C was the first physician management company to successfully develop a centralized business office specifically designed to help orthopedic practices manage their revenue cycle and technology.
Mr. Wold serves as President for the Foundation of Healthcare Management. He is the past President of the Society of Medical Dental Management Consultants and past President of the National Association of Healthcare Consultants. Mr. Wold also served as a member of the editorial board of Physician Management Magazine, Cleveland, Ohio. Mr. Wold is an active member in the Institute of Certified Healthcare Business Consultants, Medical Group Management Association and Radiology Business Management Association.
David M. D’Silva is the Chief Operating Officer of HIS. Mr. D’Silva has been with HIS for 6 years and is accountable for organizational strategy, execution, business development, consulting and P&L. Mr. D’Silva’s prior experience was in Banking for 25+ years that included responsibility for a $300MM line of business of which $50MM was specific to Healthcare with 2000 employees globally. He is specifically skilled in P&L management, product strategy and development, acquisitions, workflow design, productivity measurement and management, quality metrics development and risk management. Included within his experience, Mr. D’Silva has functioned as a contract CEO for a nine physician orthopaedic practice for over 2 years.
Richard Sanchez is a Vice President of HIS. Mr. Sanchez has been with HIS for 13 years and has extensive experience and knowledge of all levels of the revenue cycle. He oversees all operations, client management, workflow, analytics, implementations and organizational operations for all of HIS. Richard is an active member of RBMA, AAOE, HBMA and MGMA along with other industry specific organizations.
