HIS was challenged and accepted the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge:
HIS is a tight-knit group and often act as a family. On Friday August 29th, 2014, we honored one of HIS’ family members and the memory of her husband who died from ALS.
More than twenty people participated in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and together raised close to $1500 for ALS research. See the video below or you can also see the video here.
Keeping with the spirit of the challenge, Dave Wold CEO of HIS challenged the Administrators from Illinois Bone & Joint Institute. With this, they are now on the clock.

All in all, over twenty people were drenched in ice water in an effort to raise funds for ALS research.
Pay it forward and Donate:
Whether it is to ALSA for Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease) research or another charity that may be near and dear to you. Personally, I also donated to The Jimmy V Foundation for cancer research and to the MDA for research for a cure to muscular dystrophy. Just find something that matters to you and help make a difference.
Thank you to all that was involved and for the generous donations made. Together, we raised close to $1500 for ALS research.
